As a client of PURE Beauty and Wellness MediSpa, your visit will include a consultation with our medical provider, lab work (optional), weight loss medications including semaglutide, tirzepatide, vitamin injections and supplements, and nutrition and exercise recommendations to help you shed pounds safely and effectively.​
Your weight loss treatment plan is customized based on your health, medical history, and weight loss goals. Our healthcare provider will monitor your progress throughout the program and modify your treatment plan as needed.

Semaglutide
Semaglutide works by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake; it is a powerful appetite suppressant triggering weight loss. It also works by increasing the production of insulin and appears to enhance growth of β cells in the pancreas, which are the sites of insulin production.
Additionally, it inhibits glucagon, which is a hormone that increases blood sugar. It not only aids in weight loss, but helps to lower
glucose levels in those who are pre-diabetic or who have type 2 diabetes.

Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide is a unique medication that imitates two naturally occurring hormones in the body: GLP-1 and GIP. After eating, these hormones trigger the release of insulin, which is responsible for lowering blood sugar levels. Tirzepatide also slows down the rate at which the stomach empties its contents, suppressing appetite. Unlike other injectable weight loss drugs that only mimic one incretin — GLP-1, tirzepatide acts like two incretins, which is believed to result in greater weight loss compared to current alternatives.
